Little Valentines

It's time for a short blog update!!


I hope everyone had a good Valentines Day! Ours consisted of alot of chocolate and chinese takeout. Perfect.

I also got some fun pictures of Brady and Tenley! I had originally wanted to take some of these outside but ofcourse it had to rain all day long. Taking these in my dining room wasn't quite what I had envisioned.. but I made it work.

Here are some of my favorites. There were so many good ones to choose from! They were quite the models.

Hello all!


So I had every intention this past weekend to take tons of pictures with the kids. The only thing I managed to get in was a little 5 month photo shoot with Tenley. So the blog tonight will be short and sweet. I had no idea we had such a busy weekend planned. I also figured out how crazy and very inconvenient it is to go over to other peoples houses with a 2 year old and a 5 month old. I think we will go back to having the occasional get together at our house and living like recluses.


Before you look at the pictures I took let me just give you a little glimpse into what it took to get them. We found the address to this great park I heard about and instead ended up lost in the ghetto. We finally got to the park only to discover it wasn't what I had invisioned for my pictures. When we picked a spot to shoot Tenley was super fussy and had a massive dirty diaper. After changing her and getting her outfit on she decided she was hungry and sleepy.. Ofcourse we didn't bring a bottle. Plus I didn't even think about the fact she had gotten her shots the day before, duhhh. So Tenley smiled maybe a whopping 5 times the entire time we were out there.. hence all the serious faces she is giving. I still think they turned out pretty good considering all of this..
Also.. I am putting up all 17 that I edited because I really don't think I can pick just a few favorites. I like something in all of them. Plus she is so stinkin cute who doesn't want to look at 17 pictures of her!?

Well it's taco night at the Gilmore House so I'm off to get it started, Lawd help me! I hope everybody has a fantastic week!

It's about time for a blog update! Don't yall think?


So tonight I officially completed my first photography class! Although there was no grade given out.. I know that I would have gotten an A+++ (that's right, I said 3+'s). I'm also really looking forward to my "Newborn by window light" class next Saturday. I'm assuming it will entail taking pictures of newborns by windows.. and who doesn't love that? I'm really hoping it's a good class because newborn photography is definitely something I'm interested in. Speaking of newborns.. I think I'll throw in a couple pictures I took of Tenley as a newborn. I miss this little babyface.

On a side note: I will be ordering props this weekend for a Valentine's Day photo shoot I am doing with Brady! It's going to be epic. Stay tuned for that..




Also.. This weekend I will be taking alot of pictures of the kids.. Practice makes perfect, right? So I will definitely have another post loaded with pictures in a few days!

Speaking of my kids.. Here's a few that nobody has seen yet. They are nothing special but I thought it was sweet. Brady helped me put Tenley to bed.. so first he did a little dancing for her, then gave her night night kisses.

How cute are they?!? And look at these cheeks! I could kiss these chubby things ALL.DAY.LONG.




On another side note: I would like to wish my Mema another HAPPY BIRTHDAY! I miss you so much!! And Brady definitely misses his "meeemaawww"
And here's some pictures of Brady on the bike you bought him a while back.. He rides it like a pro now! I kept forgetting to post these..

As you can tell he's already a little daredevil on it!
