Bloggy Fresh

I officially have a blog now! I have rightly so named it "Pampers & Polaroids" because my day is literally spent either changing diapers or taking pictures. I hope everyone is ready for a peek into this craziness I call my life.

I'll start off with just a little about myself. I am 23 years old and my 3 year wedding anniversary is coming up in March. Time sure does fly when you are having fun. Ok ok just kidding, my husband is pretty great. We were also blessed with 2 little Gilmore's. Brady is my insanely cute and always busy 2 year old. Tenley is my 5 month old beautiful, red headed fire ball (and I can already tell she's going to be trouble). My husband is in the army and we live on Fort Benning. Has anybody ever watched the show Army Wives? You know how they are always hanging out, having fun, causing drama and baking cookies? Well it's nothing like that.. at all.

I have also started taking photography classes. I hope to start my own business someday. Photography is definitely something I could wake up for in the morning and be happy to do all day. I will post pictures on each blog, too. I think it will be fun to look back on these and see how far my photography has come. Just don't be too harsh on me.. I'm still learning! These are a few from the class I had on Saturday. We had to walk around downtown Columbus and take random pictures. This isn't really my kinda thing but taking a picture of a door is definitely easier than chasing around a 2 year old.

I also know that posting recipes and pictures of what you are having for dinner seems to be a popular thing. I DO cook most of the time but when groceries are running out, like tonight, we have to be creative. So tonight it's Tyson 100% all white meat chicken nuggets and some pasta I got in my stocking at Christmas. I will not be posting pictures of this meal but you can find the chicken nuggets in your local Wal-Mart.

I would also like to add a segment in my blogs called "Things Kristin Says"
If you ask anybody who knows me they will tell you I have some pretty bad (and frequent) blonde moments. I have tried to keep track of some of them because they are just THAT entertaining. I will kick this blog off with the famous Red Lobster one. This happened while me and my husband were looking over the menu and yes, this is 100% true.

Jared: "I wonder how this is cooked"
Me: "It says wood grilled"
Jared: "Oh, we should try that at home sometime"
Me: "Uhhhh, we can't" (rolling my eyes)
Jared: "Why not"
Me: "Because our grill isn't made of wood, duhh Jared"

I hope this blog entertained you as much as it did me. Until next time..
